From the moment a child has been identified as medically fragile or placed in the category of needing more medical attention than average, compassionate care is necessary and can make a huge difference in the child’s quality of life and development. Whether it is a genetic disorder, management of a medical condition from birth, or even one that has presented itself over time, our team of skilled nurses are here to help in a genuine nurturing way.

GETTING SERVICES
Care can be facilitated in home to whatever hours you choose, but our agency also allows nurses to accompany you to your child’s medical appointments, therapy sessions and other places approved as needed. We are here to meet all of your needs regarding specialized nursing care for your loved ones.

Our highly skilled Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses are trained in the following areas:
- Ventilator Care or Oxygen Dependent (including bi-pap, c-pap, apnea monitors)
- Tracheotomy Care
-Tube Feedings and Tube Care (G-tube, NG-tube and GJ-tube)
- Intravenous Nutrition
- Medication Administration
- Medical Complexities such as seizures, the need to be suctioned, positioned etc
- Wound Care and a lot more
BABY NET
BabyNet is South Carolina’s interagency early intervention system for infants and toddlers under three years of age with developmental delays, or who have conditions associated with developmental delays.

Anyone (a parent, doctor, caregiver, teacher or friend) can make a referral. Look for signs that an infant or toddler might need extra help. If you suspect a child may have a problem, the earlier you get help, the better!
SPECIAL NEEDS
We value children and adults with Disabilities /Special needs by developing personalized initial and ongoing home care plans to meet the client's, family, and your multidisciplinary team desires, requests, wishes, and needs.
The South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) is the state agency that provides services to children and adults with severe, lifelong disabilities.

DDSN serves people in 7 different categories of eligibility:

- Intellectual Disability
- Related Disability (i.e., a disability related to an Intellectual Disability)
- High Risk Infantile
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Head Injury
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Similar Disability (i.e., a disability similar to a head [traumatic brain] or spinal cord injury)

To be eligible for DDSN services, you must be domiciled in South Carolina and be confirmed by DDSN to meet criteria for at least one of the noted disability categories above.

How to request DDSN Eligibility:
- Call Toll Free 1-800-289-7012, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
- Have the following information about the applicant available:
o Full Name
o Date of Birth
o Social Security Number
o Medicaid Number if Medicaid eligible
o Home Address
o Phone Number
o E-mail Address, if available
- Plan to spend about 15 minutes on your call.
- You will be asked questions to establish your residency in South Carolina.
- You will be asked questions to get general information about your disability.
- You will be asked to select three (3) Intake Service Providers from a list read to you over the phone. The Intake Provider will help you through the Eligibility process at no cost to you. DDSN will contact the Intake Service Provider(s) you choose.
- You will receive a letter from DDSN confirming your application for DDSN eligibility.
- The Intake Service Provider you choose or an Autism Eligibility Coordinator will contact you by telephone within two (2) weeks and will provide you information and collect medical and educational records needed by DDSN to determine eligibility.
- Once appropriate records are submitted by the Intake Service Provider or the Autism Eligibility Coordinator, DDSN will notify the applicant in writing of their eligibility status.
